the DRAMEDY continues

Apparently 'Lily' is still twitching. Inching by as everyone considers it dead. It seems to me that 'Lily' is the new Nair. Only it may or may not last the full 4 minutes. Really, people need to get their reporting straight. I got all excited that it was not happening and now you tell me it is and I'm just emotional right now, ok?? I can't handle all this back and forth.

Though the gossip on the "Gossip Girl" spin off is, as I reported yesterday, that the series will not make it to your TV this fall, a network insider tells me this rumor is preposterous.

The CW doesn't begin scheduling meetings until next week and that's when the decisions are actually made.

So why has talk surrounding the buzzed-about project suddenly turned negative? I'm hearing that The CW's development slate -- including the "Melrose" spin off, the Mischa Barton "Beautiful Life" pilot and the "Vampire Diaries" pilot -- is so strong that the network is having a hard time deciding what to cut.

Like really... someone needs to get me more vampire shows. So if it's between the Vampire show and Lily I say AX Lily.

  1. I sense you're still upset about Blood Ties.

  2. Eh, I hate Lily right now but I think the spinoff has potential to be interesting. It sucks that they cut into one of our episodes, but that will never happen again so I'm not that worried.

  3. Do you watch True Blood? That's a really good vampire show. And although Moonlight got canceled I heard that it was pretty good...or you could watch reruns of Buffy :)

  4. There's no way they would dump Vampire Diaries for Lily. Not when GG is slowly tanking and it is. People who don't read spoilers, don't know that CB are getting back together. Poor things have only witnessed NB and they prob lost all hope and decided to watch HOUSE instead.

Does the CW want to cancel GG? That's what will happen if Lily is picked up because JS will try to make it a great show at the beginning and GG will surely be "taken care of" by Savage who has a thing for OMFG moments and is probably all excited at the prospect of breaking up CB next season with some contrived CV hookup or even a DB one nighter.

I'm gonna light a friggin' candle in church so Lily doesn't get picked up.

And seriously, is it just me or do these articles from kiss arse spoiler sources Kristen and Korbi reak of damage control? The show is prob not happening but they don't want fans not to watch tonight's episode, so they're gonna lie about it.

The fact that it's one week away from the big "decision" and the CW has not decided is not good, no matter what these douches say.

  5. Yes, I watch True Blood and watched Moonlight. The only vampire-like thing I dont like is Twilight. But I was SO into Blood Ties.

  6. I liked the flashbacks. It was the first time I actually enjoyed Gossip Girl in a while.

PS. CW should bring "Angel" back :)
