You made a potentially sarcastic remark about Gossip Girl's Serena and Nate happening. I need to know if there is anything to that remark, because I am more hopeful than I should be about Serenate finding their way back together. Please help! — Megan

I know, we can't stop playing with Nate's name. He's too gullible to just let him be plain Nate. So. They're cock-teasing us with this Serena business because we know from spoiler pictures that she runs off with Carter. Yet I can't help but ask myself in a suspicious uncommon manner if I rather they do Serenate right rather than hook them up at the last moment in the season. Now, I know they teased us with this at the very end of last season and it amounted to nothing but I really am hopeful that this time they will finally give me Serenate. But I rather that they give it to me right. You know? I dont want a Nair-mesh up. I rather have the build-up. So, in reality, I rather she doesn't end the season with Nate like she did last time but running off with Carter and leaving the gentlenate alone might be better. As you all can see, here in KAG we are split as to what we want to do with Nate. I'm a Serenate fan, Inca tends to just like Nate gay but she's sympathetic towards the NJ movement. We dont mind, Nate is such a whore he can do anyone he likes (with the GRAND exception of Blair who belongs to Chuckles and the hobo-barista that put us to sleep).
So, if you like Serena like me vote in. If you dont, go away :P
(FYI, as you can see we're not worried about Chair. Every freshman gets worried before they start college. She'll get over it.)
I can totally see them having a one-night stand after the party in 2x25, then S freaks out the next morning and leaves with Carter, and in S3 having NS pick up where they left off.
ReplyDeletePeople are speculating that Blair ends up rooming with Vanessa at NYU. I'm lighting candles in church right now so that doesn't happen.
ReplyDeleteIf they don't reveal CV in the finale, I'm sure it'll come up again, no matter how much we hate it. I don't trust the jerk writers at all. They seem to not get that we don't like Vanessa. The actress seems ok in real life but the character itself pushes me to drink.
If B does indeed move out of the penthouse, I really don't see her moving in with anyone else other than C. It's just too hard to imagine her living with someone else (that is not C or S) in a room that is smaller than her closet.
ReplyDeleteThey kinda hinted at it in 2x22 when C (even though he may have been kidding) said to N that she could always move in with him at the Palace.
I'm very glad that Serena and Nate are not just going to have another "Ooooh, could it be.... No, nevermind" moments like they did last year. I want them to happen like a real couple with a fighting chance (because you KNOW they'd get more popular than DS). Plus, I would not be able to take Nate seriously ever if he moved onto S one episode after Blair dumped his sorry ass.
ReplyDeleteHowever, this terrifies me that Nate and Vanessa might get back together this episode. PLEASE DON'T LET THAT HAPPEN, WRITERS. Please, just don't. Let Nate end the season single and, more importantly, without any real friends. So that he can see that in order to be a nice guy, you have to care about people and their feelings.
I honestly think that if the writers match Nate back up with Vanessa it will be an official confirmation that they are smoking crack. It would be and I also would rather they hang out this coming episode and then hit NS next season and do it right because they WOULD become more popular than DS in an instant.

I voted for a one night stand because I think it's more realistic. And it could totally lead into something more. I mean just look where it took Chuck and Blair.
