What is this– Oscar season for lists of hot women? Sheesh. In the past week at least three lists have come out that feature the top 50 or 100 beautiful women/people. What gives?

And on every single one of those lists you will find Gossip Girl stars Blake Lively and Leighton Meester. These chicks are rocking it this year and have been recognized by a plethora of magazines for their style and good looks.

So what is the latest list where both ladies make the grade? That would be Glamour Mag’s “50 Most Glamorous Women of 2009.”

Blake makes the list at number 28 with the description: “She plays with fashion and pulls it off.” Leighton edges out her co-star by a mere margin once again and comes in at number 26. A reader wrote in saying: “She seems to have more fun with clothes than her character does.”

Blake at #33 with her blonde-thing going on. I guess men like the Barbie look. I'm much more of a brunette myself for both boys and girls.

MICHELLE!!!! If there was no Leighton (all hail the Queen) in this world you would be our Queen and we would totally be scandalized for you being on #85. But dont worry, there's always next year!!

Oh and look at that! LD didn't make it! I'm SUPER surprised! Her people must not be working as overtime as we had anticipated. But dont worry, LD, with the right people and ANOTHER boyfriend you may make it to the list next year. I'm sure you wont disappoint.

NOSE all about it

I have to commend Barbie here because she's had an AWESOME job done to her nose. I had never noticed before but that is a GREAT nose job. It's subtle and classy and if I had her previous nose I would've totally done it too.

it's like the 80's - OMG!

Stop making fun of Sexwick! Such a mean person, god! I can't stand you.

If you're going to bring up Sexwick then you're going to have to love my Blake plate.

First of all, we hate her. She's a bitch. With stunning legs. So we hates her, ok? People shouldn't look like that while the rest of humanity continues living WITHOUT the legs. But lets talk about the dress, ok? I feel we need to address this dress. The moment I saw it I was like WHOA. Wore it to my counsin's wedding circa 1989 (yes, shut up, I'm old. f u and your little dog too!) and it's got one sleeve thing going on and then the fushia color just... takes it to another level.

But then I thought. It's probably a homage to that show that no one will watch because Josh is on the Kool Aid too and feels the need to do this because we're all on pins and fucking needles about the life of young Lily. Look. No one liked the 80's. I know, I was there. This is when Sexwick becomes misguided and does things like get homemade-tattoos - help the helpless, ppl! HELP THEM!

All in all - I kinda like Barbie and Penn. It's almost like Barbie and Ken. Rhymes, no? Can we just get an AMEN for DARENA being over - those two had been on the KOOL AID for a few seasons now, hadn't they? I think Barbie needs to grab Nate for Season 3. I think this would rock and I would do things like NOT fast forward through anything that is not CHAIR. Barbie/Nate would be awesome, wouldn't they? Two stupid people living it out. Next thing you know they'll be moving to Netherfield Hall. Yippy-Kay-Yay!
