So apparently this bitch is still on the show. Dont worry, we're still working on it.
Now, we've stated it before that we are under the belief that if they keep her on the show next season they will be moving into the Danessa territory. Not because their chemistry is off the charts or anything but because she's got no where else to go. NV fell flat, CV was a bad joke, so unless they make her a lesbian, which IMO it's the best route, they will be hitting the Danessa camp.
If Serenate does go under fruition it'll only be a matter of time until both Brooklyn-judgies go at it. And no, I dont care what she has to say about Chuck. In my universe it didn't happen and if this is going to be her cameo in the episode then fine. Half of the characters already know they went at it so let us just move to the important things like Nathaniel even thinking that Blair would enjoy the subway. Honestly... I sense the entire purpose of this episode is to CONTINUE showing how wrong Nair is for one another. It's interesting how the writers are under the belief that it would take 4 episodes for us to see that. You either see it or you dont. You're either on the Kool-Aid or you're not. It's just that simple.
So yeah. Danessa. Give us a moment while we muster us enough energy to care.
urgh. there're ppl on lj who apparently still luv her ><
ReplyDeleteBitch. Cannot. Act.
ReplyDeleteOn paper? This scene should have been charming. There isn't much wrong with the words written, and Dan has two good lines. On screen? FAIL.
I refuse to convenience ship this character with ANYONE, even though I love CB and want NS. Because, she'll be back around our corner of the world destroying everything soon enough due to her Mary Sueness.
I agree with 12:18. I read it and thought it would be a charming scene and it's FLAT as a 6 year old's chest.
ReplyDeleteHow can they not see this? Ugh. Turns me off that we still have to watch her on my screen!
I really hate her--and what really sucks for Gossip Girl is that, as mentioned above, that scene, on paper, has the potential to be charming and actually quite funny but the way Lady Hobo plays off her lines, its falls flat and, like lady Hobo, annoyingly repulsive.
ReplyDeleteI completely agree as well, her lines are not one bit funny, and the way she pretty much chugs the beer after each line instead of just taking a sip is "REPULSIVE". I think they meant for it to be funny but it realy isn't. It pisses me off too because I've actually been liking Dan lately because he isn't with Serena, and if they pair him with Hobo than I will have to ff through his scenes too... DAMN IT LD, WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE, CRAWL BACK INTO THE SEWER FROM WHICH YOU CAME! I BANISH YOU! BE GONE!
ReplyDelete100% agree with all the comments above. What I can't believe is that Lady Dreads was originally supposed to be in like 3 episodes and the producers asked her to be a permanent cast member. What were they smoking?! Can't they tell she has not an iota of talent or screen presence? Or that her voice is the most annoying sound in the universe?
