Really, who was also freaked out by Psycho!Nate's look after he says ILY? I mean... wow. I present to you PSYCHO!NATE! Look at the eyes.... CREEPY!!
*look into my eyes, Blair and take off your coat* *look into my eyes, Blair and love me* *look into my eyes, Blair because they're pretty and psychotic*
LMAO! I know, he is so creepy in this episode and controlling. I dont understand how blair can keep convincing herself she likes him! and i dont understand why he even wants blair when he obviously doesnt love her.
Oh My God, the Marcus gif xDxDxD I'm so upset, but I still find this hilarious! I didn't think there will come a time when I'll hate a character more than his pointless pathetic fake!British-ass, but - like I said - Nate has just crossed the line to The Edward Cullen Creepdom. There's no known cure. CCC=Crazy Controlling Creepers BOTH OF THEM. Forever.
he was VERY creepy! I couldn't believe it until I saw it but this episode was very anti-Nate and the last scene just made me want to run out of the room and take Blair with me.
I loved the coat reference that Nate did because the last time they saw one another Chuck had brought her the coat and then Nate tells her to take off the coat and then gives her the creepy challenging look. It's symbolic of what Nate wants Blair do to about Chuck. He wants her to take him 'off' which continues to be controlling.
Oh, he was controlling and creepy and doing most of his crap behind Blair's back which is what he's always yelling at her about. Seriously, he backed down pretty quickly ("Oh, I know you and Chuck aren't a problem") each time before pulling another maneuver.
I kind of feel he's always been manipulative and two-faced with her though, especially in season one, so I didn't think that this was THAT out of character.
I also kind of think it was in character that Nate gets into his relationships ONLY when another guy is threatening it. He was like that with Vanessa too, and Blair in season 1. Nate hates having his toys taken away from him.
Blair's always had a blind spot concerning him, but so has Chuck.
I do find him more interesting than puppy!Nate however. Serena is the perfect person to call him out on his behaviour in the future, if we do get Serenate.
He's always been an arsehole. Since the beginning. He's always controlled. Or done that wierd creepy manipulative thing that he does. Check 102 NB bed scene/110 pin scene. Ugh. Poor Blair bear. He plays on her emotions. But this episode just magnified it x1000.
Absolutely unbelievable. He's gone bat shit crazy. Really wanna see next week's episode now. To see how they're all gonna act around each other.
LMAO at the LM gif. That scene cracked me the shit up.
can you put credit to mary on the last gif (: and btw amazing post nate face cracks me up like that's the most serious and demanding faces i've ever seen on him...lmao
Nate used to be the stupid adorable one. There was something even charming in his complete obliviousness. I used to like him, but now I can't stand him. Now that I think about it, Nate has kind of always been a possessive, high-nosed jerk too blind to see beyond his man bangs. If you watch "Hi Society" again, this becomes very apparent. He went to the ball with Blair as friends, but he got all upset and jeolous about Carter dancing with Blair (even though he had no grounds for it) and threw a punch at Carter with these words (rememeber they went as friends): "she is my girlfriend". Nate's always had a hidden freak in him. Very few of us have seen it though because of Chase's innocent blue eyes and dashing good looks.
Sorry but can I just have a bitch and moan here please???? thanksx
I FUCKING HATE NATE AND NAIR FANS. I mean are you just COMPLETE idiots? Seriously, you're a waste of emotions. Nate is the biggest jackass I've ever seen, he has fooled so many people into thinking he is anything other than a FUCKING PSYCHO MANNEQUIN. I just want to slap him- what an utter douche.
The personality change demonstrates that Nate has the potential to grow up to be just like his grandfather. Nate's storyline has been all about his relationship with, and his responsibilities to, his family. He must decide whether to become Grandfather (control), the Captain (leveraging personal relationships for advancement), or himself (Columbia!Nate).
That expression gave me the chills. The writers should seriously turn Nate into a full blown psychopath. Imagine the possibilities for drama plus it would be a great match between the actor's acting skills and the character. He would be far more creepy than Chuck ever was in his bad boy hey days. Good looks, lack of facial expression and the sense that emotions are only stirred on the surface are so perfect for a psychopath.
The truth is .... how Nate is acting is of little consquence. Clearly the writers have written him off as having a plausable storyline and have chosen to use him as bate to string the CB dynamic out as long as possible.....URGH!
3.53 : He could be as epic as psycho!Derek. Seriously. I hated that dude at first but his psycho-ness won me over, no joke. As jerky as N was, at least this dude is actually DOING something for once. Whatever. I'm just gonna enjoy this until we got our 'compensation' for all the 'pain and suffering' we've had this year. It best be good motherfuckers.
