    i was going to vote for "damange control...they know they f*cked up" - cos it did sound alot like damage control, but i dont really know if they really know that they f*cked up. big time. unless they kill of vanessa, then i'm still going to say they dont know how much damage they've caused

    I haven't seen this much hate towards a single character in a fandom since Riley on Buffy, and he got written off.

    Killing off Vanessa would be like a sacrifice to propitiate the Gods of their viewership.

    I cannot remember why I ever thought human sacrifice was a bad idea. I'm totally on board.

    Riley was seriously one of the worst characters in tv history. I hated him with a burning passion. I don't even like to re-watch season four because he's in it.

    The only way I liked Vanessa was when she was with Nate, because at least she brought out some good things in him. However, I think he'd do muc better with Serena.
