Let us give you all some definitions.

repetition: the act or an instance of repeating or being repeated
retardation: slowness in development or progress
HELLO, 2.03 CHUCK! HOW ARE YOU?? OMG, you're even wearing the SAME robe! And fucking random women! OH and Hobo Barista meant nothing to you? You mean it was POINTLESS? OH NOES! And you're even having conversation with Serena! DRINKING THINGS! And Blair is off with another guy! ANOTHER WHITE-BREAD! Damn! Is it October 2008? I feel like a serious deja vu!

she makes no sense half the time. I think they forget the lines they've written for her in previous episodes.
ReplyDeleteTotes agree with dae-dreemer. It may be character regression but at least it's regression back to a wonderful pre NB/CV time. So yes, let's have a do-over and repair some serious character/storyline damage.
ReplyDeleteI would like to ignore everything that happened in that last episode. At least he's not keeping the fact that he fucked Vanessa a secret, so it can't come back to bite us in the ass later. And I'd rather have Chuck fucking random women than Vanessa. And I remember someone from tv guide saying they were pissed because basically they repeated the SAME EXACT STORYLINE that Blair has had already... aka being with some boring dude while wanting Chuck and Chuck wanting her but being too stupid to do anything about it.
ReplyDeleteAlso, it's obvious that Serena roots for Chuck and Blair, she just was figuring that Nate was making Blair happy at the time and being the worried best friend, she figured it was better to have a break from the drama. Or something. Again, I'd like to ignore everything that happened last episode as unreal except for the NB hookup since we're going to have to live with that for another 33 fucking days. Thank you for the countdown clock girls.
ReplyDeleteLast comment I promise. Also I do like the theory that Chuck already knows that Blair hooked up with Jack, so that's one of the reasons he is acting stooopid. However, I WELCOME this Chuck back over a gross Elle-ridden Chuck.

ReplyDeleteHonestly though, I'd rather Chuck bang randoms again than stomach more Chuhobo. At least that regression is more entertaining than Blair's. And the fact that I even have to reason like that with regards to this show is just FUCKING TRAGIC.

No! That would never happen! I mean, Nate and Serena would totally be the least likely couple in all of Gossip-dom, especially considering their sleazy history. It would be totally unexpected, right? Plus, when I mentioned that the producers should fix Gossip Girl by dirtying up fuzzy bunnies Serena and Nate, it's not like the powers that be were listening. Right? Right?

ReplyDeleteUm, but at least I *recognize* this Chuck. I haven't recognized Chuck since 2x14 overall. I seriously think he's been out of character (and Nate-like in his actions at times) for the last 7 episodes.
I should be relieved about the Hobo Barista comment, but I'm still too aggravated by that whole thing. That was horrific.
I think it's fucking retarded that we are to get happy about shit like this. Like this is a relief. This is how far they've gone that we get to be RELIEVED because Chuck is back to chucking randoms.
