NATEFUSED; The act of being thoroughly confused about life, love, your purpose in life and the angle your character continues to take. Said side effects may include realizing an ex is alive and attractive, completely forgetting the last 6 months of your life with your girlfriend, being surprised your best friend cares for a girl though it's been explained to you before, finding yourself stuck between two girls and having NO idea how you got there, not understand why a big brother is pissed at you sucking face with his little sister, why you're always underdressed, why your house is without furnishings, why an older married woman is keeping you a secret, why said older woman is giving you money, why you suck and when exactly did you become a douche bag.
Worry not, those suffering from Natefusion, in case your life goes up in flames you can always get natefused about how you're suddenly hooking up with your ex girlfriend's best friend in 4 episodes FLAT.
Nate is definitely behind or sometimes tied with V as the most pathetic characters on the show. All they do is come in between DS and CB and it's clear that the writers don't know what to do with them.

ReplyDeleteAll this is genius. LOVE IT. That said, I went to high school with plenty of guys like Nate. Like half the lacrosse and hockey teams.
Nate makes me feel like a freaking NASA rocket scientist, heart surgeon and president at the same time he's so fucking clueless and stupid.

ReplyDeleteI like Nate. I'm kinda shallow and will be taken in by pretty blue eyes for far longer than I should be. But he's a crappy best friend. And Chuck needs to wallop him in the face good.
Particularly, if the end of Nair has anything, ANYTHING, to do with Nate & Serena... REDUX OF SEASON 1 IS NOT A GOOD FINALE.
Hell yeah Juliette Id love Chuck to just smack Nate, like really punch him. That would be so hot and deserved.
