Well, speaking as someone who comes from a family with more money than Miss Waldorf, I still hate Vanessa. Obviously I don't hate her because she reminds me of myself (and God help anyone who feels they can "relate" to Vanessa), so what's my excuse? Could it be that she just fucking sucks? That she ruins almost every scene she's in? That she's one of the most pointless characters to ever appear on a teen soap? Look, I have zero problem with Jessica. I have incredible problems with Vanessa. I didn't like her when she was first introduced to us, and my dislike has only grown over the seasons. Once she slept with Chuck, it was full-on hate. She's awful, and is one of the least relatable characters I've ever seen. Should I relate to her holier-than-thou attitude? How about her rampant hypocrisy? Maybe I should respect her for acting like an ass and yet never getting called on it. I hate her. Pure and simple. And I have no idea what this person is smoking, because can you imagine a campaign to get Blair kicked off the show? That would be hilarious. She's only the most popular female character (and is tied with Chuck for favorite character overall). This poor, misguided soul. I do have to give her some props, however. Who knew that there was someone so vehemently pro-Vanessa? Anywhere? Good for this chick for being insane and proud of it.

no. Blair and Chuck create Buzz. Buzz is the media reporting on it in a way that makes you want to tune into the show. Featuring them in articles and spreads. Vanessa hardly get ANY love from the media telling you to watch the show for her. Vanessa's character is causing ruckus in the fandom, a BIG difference.
